Wat ga je doen?

Who can conduct logistics analysis and engineering work, including data gathering and analysis, logistics modeling (transportation as well as warehousing), presenting main findings to stakeholders and solution implementation. Also support the preparation of results into legible proposal documents or other engineering reports and presentations for customers, prospects, management and other users.

Key areas of responsibility

1.Ford Customer Team (70%)

a. Key member of customer team for Ford. Be contributor and lead in customer and carrier meetings, initiate and validate (transport) opportunities. The team is responsible for continuous optimization of the aftermarket supply chain in Europe for this manufacturer.

2.General engineering (30%)

a. Conduct logistics analysis and engineering work, as directed by (Senior) Logistics Engineers or (Senior) Project managers

b. Responsible for process optimizations and improvement proposals within existing and new solutions/businesses.

c. From a business development perspective, the preparation of requests for quotation for customer supply chain issues, both in the freight management and warehousing area.

Röhlig Penske Logistics is a joint venture between Röhlig Logistics and Penske Logistics and builds on the successful cooperation between the two logistics companies in serving common customers in Europe. Röhlig Penske Logistics offers warehouse space, transport management and e-commerce logistics at its locations in Nettetal, Germany and Roosendaal, The Netherlands. 100 employees work at the two locations.


Wat neem je mee?
  •  Analytical, self-starter, business sensitive, affinity with IT solutions, interested in trends and developments, must be able to express himself/herself clearly and convincingly in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • 2-5 years of work experience within operations, engineering and/or information technology is preferred; experience with logistics industry is preferred, as well as sourcing experience;
  • Knowledge to use proven engineering methodologies, good MS Excel skills;
  • • Bachelor level, for instance Business Economics, Logistics Engineer, Operations Research.
